FAQ
What should I wear?
I recommend loose fitting clothes that allow you to move around as well as allow me to get to the area we are treating.
Do you accept health insurance?
I operate as a cash-based (or out-of-network) clinic rather than accepting health insurance directly. This approach allows me to provide a higher quality of care through individualized treatment plans, longer sessions, and a direct therapist-patient relationship. I see only one patient at a time, unlike other clinics that may juggle several patients simultaneously. While this means patients pay out of pocket, it often leads to more efficient and effective outcomes, potentially saving money in the long run. For those with insurance, I can offer a superbill for potential reimbursement. I’m committed to working with you to find a care and payment strategy that makes your therapy accessible. I wrote this blog post about the benefits of a cash-based practice here.
What is your cancellation policy?
There is a $50 fee for appointments not canceled at least 24 hours in advance. This is because the treatment room is reserved exclusively for you. I understand that unexpected situations can happen, but I kindly ask for your cooperation to avoid charges and to enable me to offer your time slot to another patient who may need it.
