Meet Jenna: Your Expert in Physical Wellness

I’m Jenna Silver, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, certified in Dry Needling (Cert DN) and specializing in Pelvic Floor Therapy. I’m so honored you’re considering me for your journey to physical wellness.

Personal Approach

I believe in a holistic approach to treatment, looking at the complete picture of your health to tailor a unique treatment plan that addresses your specific needs. I work closely with every patient, providing a supportive and welcoming environment that facilitates healing and wellness.

My Educational Journey

I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a program that provided me with a strong foundation in patient-centered care. This advanced education honed my skills in evidence-based practice, enabling me to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions with the latest therapeutic techniques. It also instilled in me a deep commitment to continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that I remain at the forefront of advancements in physical therapy. As a result, my patients benefit from the most current and effective treatments, tailored to their specific goals and needs, facilitating not just recovery but also enhancing their overall quality of life.

Prior to that I earned a B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science, which equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of human physiology, biomechanics, and sports psychology. This foundation allows me to design highly effective, evidence-based treatment plans that not only address current injuries but also promote long-term health and performance enhancement. My education ensures I can tailor rehabilitation programs to each individual’s unique needs, optimizing recovery and preventing future injuries.

I’m also a certified RYT 200 yoga instructor, with a specialization from a Yoga Alliance accredited program. Since 2022, I’ve taught yoga weekly, enriching my expertise in holistic wellness. This background allows me to blend yoga’s therapeutic benefits into my physical therapy practice, enhancing patient recovery with personalized programs that improve flexibility, strength, and mental well-being.

Women’s Health

My passion for physical therapy intersects profoundly with my dedication to women’s health. I understand the unique physical challenges that women face throughout different phases of life, from young adulthood to pregnancy and menopause. Pelvic Floor Therapy isn’t just a specialization—it’s a mission for me to empower women to regain control over their bodies and, by extension, their lives.

Why Dry Needling?

Dry Needling (Cert DN) is another therapy I offer, which is an excellent adjunct to traditional physical therapy methods. This specialized technique has proven to be incredibly effective in relieving muscle tension and pain, leading to faster healing and improved function. If you’re struggling with chronic pain or acute muscle issues, Dry Needling may be a suitable therapy for you.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy reading fantasy novels with my pets and husband, weightlifting, and teaching hot yoga every Sunday morning.
